Thoughts

This one took a long time to complete, I think because I have had the idea for so long. Where I live, there is an erotic massage place in the building opposite, their balcony is across from my art room. It was interesting in the summer seeing different people out on that balcony from cleaners to burly men and of course the girls working there. 

It seemed a funny thought that sex workers would go on a cigarette break just like any job and I wanted to capture their relaxed and friendly demeanor. The drawings on the wall are O'Keefe-inspired 'flowers'.
