Thoughts

The image is based on one of the quit smoking campaigns on the front of cigarette packets. I created it whilst in the hospital, where I felt like a specimen being observed, tested, and prodded. I like the eyeball as it shows fear so well despite being a small part of the face. For me, just looking at it makes me feel the dry, cold air on my eyeballs and shudder a bit. I like the disturbing factor here, not that I think anyone would really want this artwork...maybe an optometrist!
